Confessions of mystyle's Shopaholics
We're psyched to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, which opens this weekend. So much so, in fact, that we got to talking about who in the office works out her credit card the most. That would be me (on the right). Hi, my name is Sydne Summer. And I'm a shopaholic.
I'm not as bad as Isla Fisher's character, Becky Bloomwood (center); I've never frozen a credit card or thrown a punch over Pucci. But I do hate wearing the same outfit twice, which means my wardrobe needs to be restocked on a regular basis. Turns out, mystyle intern Angela Tafoya (on the left) feels the same way.
How could two admitted shopaholics truly bond? Why, by showing off our best finds! We canvassed our vast closets for 20 colorful purchases and styled one another in true Confessions style. We don't own the many designer goodies Patricia Field used in the movie (Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, Christian Dior and Matthew Williamson, to name a few). So, like first lady Michelle Obama, we mixed high and mass fashion to create five distinct looks.
Fashion police : Heads Up!
From the neck down, Victoria Beckham is one fierce femmebot as she heads to Idol auditions in a red frock (by her eponymous label) and matchy YSL pumps. But what would've been an imposing outfit turns wacky with the lace headband, spiky hair and raccoon makeup. Gotta be hard to take her seriously as a judge in this silly look.

Jodelle Ferland: Eclipse's Nameless Teen Vamp
Jodelle Ferland has been sworn to secrecy. She's not allowed to say much about the part she just landed in the third Twilight movie, Eclipse.
"I'm allowed to tell people that I play a vampire who has just been turned," the 14-year-old Canadian actress tells me. "In other words, I'm a newborn vampire. I'm not allowed to say the name of the character."
So if she won't say whether her character is Team Edward or Team Jacob, what's her pick in real life?

Michael Jackson "Not Buried Yet," Says Father Joe
Just in case you weren't certain, Michael Jackson is "not buried yet."
Shooting down published reports (and backing up what we reported yesterday), father Joe Jackson tells E! News exclusively that his son has not already been laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Joe declined to specify any burial plans or confirm whether his son's body has been placed in Motown maven Berry Gordy's crypt as some outlets have speculated.
The Jackson patriarch, who resides primarily in Las Vegas, also tells E! News he supports a proposal to move Neverland to Vegas.
"I think Vegas would be great," says Joe. And while he doesn't think the family would visit such a shrine to his son, Joe does believe "the fans would come."
Asked about Michael's ongoing death investigation, Joe says he prefers not to discuss it, only adding, "I still can't believe he's gone."

The Gossip Girl star on living her (many) dreams beyond the show.
When Leighton Meester auditioned for the part of Gossip Girl's spoiled rich girl Blair Waldorf in 2007, she bought herself a pair of red shoes: leather slingback heels from Marc by Marc Jacobs (not "big" Marc; the actress could barely afford the little one). Returning to New York following a childhood in Florida, Manhattan, and Los Angeles, she visualized herself tripping down the street in her Blair shoes, like Dorothy landing in Oz. "In my heart, I could picture myself wearing them living in New York," she says. "So I wore them to the audition and got the part. I can't give them away because every time I wear them, I'm living that dream."
But Leighton, our Upper East Side heroine, can handle rather more than a sandwich. Press her on guilty pleasures and she replies, "You know, I'm trying to think of what I'm ashamed of. But, damn, I don't really have any shame."

dan kita berdua (gue & novita) menjelajah di kantor itu .hahahahah .terus ikut event offair2 di SMA2 .masih banyak lagi kegiatan yang dilakuin disana .terus ada 2 anak magang juga .dari IPB fakultas fikom.. namanya Berto & Dewi .pokoknya disana gokil2 banget .
gue pribadi sih lebih tertarik di music derictor , hmmmm oya .sempet nyoba jadi penyiar juga .hahhahahah .parah ! seru gila .
hari2 terusss beerlalu (gaya banget bahasa gue !) akhirnya ,hari terakhir dateng juga .berat banget rasanya ninggalin mustang 88,0 .mereka semua udah kaya sodara sendiri tapi ngga kandung. hahahaha . gue pengen banget bisa kerja disana .huhuhuuhuh .

hari minggu kemarin tepatnya tanggal 9 agustus 2009 .gue sma temen2 menghadiri ponds teens concert .awalnya sih gue maless .ya tapi sayang tiketnya .gratisannn .hahahaha .terus ketemuan sama caca, erikha sama nung .hahahah .
kangen parah gue ! tadinya masih ada 2 temen gue lagi yang ikut ke sana .tapi si andhin kaga bisa .dan dengan alasan besok ospek, kalo uchen .
hmmmmmm dia lagi ngantor .heheheheheh.yaa .gue tunggu2 dan pastinya temen gue tunggu yaaa agan .hahahahah .sudah bertahun2 ngga liat n nonton dia .mulai hyperaktive yah si agan .

ketertarikan gue
awal mulai gue tertarik sama "world of fashion" dimulai dari gue berlenganan fashion tv. hahahahaha . sama majalah2 .hmmmmmm , kayanya seru aja gitu .bisa mengexplore seberapa stylenya kita. bahkan gue bercita-cita jadi fashion editor di sebuah majalah fashion ternama. hahahahah . ngarep banget gue .tapi aminnnnnn ya Allah.

A Li-Ning design team based in Hong Kong has been working with China's star-studded national diving, gymnastics, table tennis and shooting teams for years."The 2008 Olympic sportswear for those teams will have a futuristic feel," said Hong Kong designer Noelle Ng, the leader of the six-member group.
The team started the project in January last year and it took them four months to generate the idea.

Fashion Yang cocok buat Pria Kurus
Mungkin banyak sebagian dari cowok bertubuh kurus yang ngga pede sama bentuk tubuhnya. Apa lagi dengan urusan fashion style, banyak dari mereka takut terlihat kurus jika salah memakai pakaian.
Sebenarnya ngga sulit ko sulit buat memilih fashion yang cocok buat cowok berbadan kurus dan tinggi. Karena model untuk pakaian cowok tidak pernah berubah pada dasarnya, berbeda dengan pakaian cewek yang mempunyai berbagai model pakaian. Berikut cara memilih pakaian yang cocok:
1. Jangan menggunakan pakaian terlalu ngepres di badan ataupun kebesaran. Karena akan memperjelas bentuk tubuh anda yang kurus. Usahakan semua pakaian ukurannya pas, dan jangan sekali-kali menggunkan baju model ketat. Agar tubuh bagian atas sedikit kelihatan berisi, cobalah pakai jas atau jaket yang ada bantalan bahu berbentuk menyatu dengan tubuh anda.
2. Jika lo make jaket, pastiin jaket yang kalian kenakan panjangnya sampai kebawah pantat, jika kalian memakai di atas pantat bisa menambah kesan kurus.
3. Untuk celana panjang, kamu bisa menggunakan celana klasik dan sederhana. Jangan takut buat menggunakan celana yang bermotif, justru anda akan terlihat berisi. Jangan pernah menggunkan celana stretch atau yang sedang tenar di kalangan anak-anak muda jaman sekarang model ‘pensil’.
4. Pastikan panjang celana yang kamu gunakan melebihi mata kaki, karena jika kamu menggunakan celana yang panjangnya kurang dari pergelangan kaki, maka kaki kamu bakal terlihat kecil.
5. Untuk menutupi bentuk siku anda yang runcing, lo bisa menutupinya dengan menggunakan kemeja atau t-shirt lengan panjang. Dengan begitu lengan serta siku lo bakal terlihat lebih berisi, pakelah untuk keseharian kalian.
